Ranged Shooting - Mission 01 Atlantic Wall
- All difficulty levels are explained in authentic at the highest difficulty. For other difficulty levels, you just hit the red target in focus, so we won't cover it here. In Authentic, shooting is more difficult than other difficulty levels.
- Bullets are affected by gravity. Therefore, it does not fly in a straight line.
- Bullets are affected by the wind. Therefore, it does not fly in a straight line.
- Using Focus doesn't slow down the passage of time.
- Using focus does not show the final destination of the bullet.
- When I use Focus, I don't see if I hit an enemy (red mark).
- We have prepared videos and images, so if you refer to both, I think it will help you to capture it.
- The rifle is "M.1903" and "Match Grade Bullet" except for some missions, and the parameters when equipped with normal bullets are unified to "Effective Range: 600m" and "Muzzle Velocity: 1130m/s".
At first
The first mission is long-range shooting, but suddenly it becomes a top-level difficulty. Moreover, only in Mission 1, the required distance in authentic has been increased, and I wonder if I have made a mistake in the settings. There is a possibility of sudden setbacks, so it is recommended to do ranged shooting of other missions first.

Shooting Pattern 1 (Infantry Near Goal)
This pattern is probably the most mainstream, hitting at 750m and above against the required 725m. In the figure above, it is the first part. However, the distance is considerably higher than in other missions, and visibility is also very poor, so be prepared for dozens of restarts in some cases.
By the way, the second course was only about MAX 723m even if I took the extreme distance, so it was slightly short of winning the gold medal. There is also a way to fly the trajectory in a mountain, but it is not recommended because the target is hidden by the mountain and you cannot see it at all.
First of all, the enemy you will target this time is the infantry in the building next to the goal of the mission. I alternate between the two windows on the second floor at intervals of about 10~20 seconds. The latency is not fixed. The movement takes about 5 seconds.
Set the starting location to the "Interrogation Room" and head to the shooting point. There is grass at the destination, so stand there and squat first. It's not prone.
Face the target and look through binoculars. Move to the left until the left side of the black tree branch of the rock barely sticks together. Keep your back attached to the wall. Then, just above the lower leaves, the infantry will come regularly. This is the window on the right.
Adjust the rifle. Change the ammo to matchgrade and set the range to 800. If you save it here, it is easy to start over.
Keep your binoculars aligned with the position where the infantry from earlier will appear. When an infantry soldier comes to the window, a tag will appear and you will be able to hold your rifle.
Once you've raised your rifle, put it in focus mode to prevent it from shaking. Position it as shown in the figure below. You only have a chance for about 10~15 seconds, so you need to hurry up and adjust it.
The vertical axis should be so that the two rocks are on the right. The horizontal axis should be aligned at the fork of the Y-shaped branch, or at the intersection where the black branch extends to the left and hits the rock.
All that's left to do is shoot. It's a one-dot world, so you may not be able to hit it. It's guaranteed to be a kill camera, but it can also be achieved with the sound of defeating an enemy like a pop. If you don't make any sound when you hit it, you've only done some damage. If you miss it once, the enemy will be wary, so if you shoot three shots in a row and can't kill it, start over from where you saved.
If you're not good at rushing to align the scope after binoculars, Do not use binoculars at all, but aim only with the scope and shoot at the appropriate time. Infantry are there for 3~4% of the time, so if you try about 3 times, you will eventually win.
Shooting Pattern 1 (Infantry Near the Goal) + Stun the Opponent
Infantry regularly go back and forth through the windows, so you need to time your shots together. So, if you make your opponent immobile, you can shoot at your own timing, which reduces the difficulty. Here, you can achieve long-range shooting by shooting your opponent while stunned.
However, it is different from the usual pattern, so please note the following points when practicing.
- We have not been able to confirm whether they have won medals this way
- If you stun an opponent, the infantry may disappear when you save and load.
- It takes a lot of time to prepare in advance.
It is important to note that infantry may disappear in save and load, but even if you fail to shoot, the opponent will not run away. You can challenge as many bullets as you have. If possible, you want to challenge with match-grade bullets, but if you run out, you can also try with regular rifle bullets. You can get as many regular rifle rounds as you want, so you don't have to save and load them (although it takes a long time to collect them). Match-grade ammo can also be obtained from the lookout tower in the northwest and the watchtower in the southeast.
First, go to the place where the infantry is and stun them. If you stun them, put the infantry on the window. It may be better to put the window on the light side, which is slightly easier to see, but if you like. To place the infantry on the window, stand so that the window is on the left and press the change equipment button. Then the enemy you carry will fall to the left side, and hopefully you will get into the window.
Once you've loaded the infantry on the window, head to the firing point. When you get to the firing point, point your binoculars at the infantry to find out where they are. It is necessary to stop the binoculars for about 1 second before the enemy information is displayed, so please note that if you move the binoculars all the time, no information will come out. The more enemies are down, the narrower the binoculars' hitbox will be.
Once you know where the enemy is, all you have to do is shoot at them. Please note that you can only tell if you have defeated an enemy by the sound. If you can hear the sound of the hit, it is an achievement.
Shooting Pattern 2 (Southwest Cape) (Not Done)
