Ranged Shooting - Mission 03 Spy Training School
- All difficulty levels are explained in authentic at the highest difficulty. For other difficulty levels, you just hit the red target in focus, so we won't cover it here. In Authentic, shooting is more difficult than other difficulty levels.
- Bullets are affected by gravity. Therefore, it does not fly in a straight line.
- Bullets are affected by the wind. Therefore, it does not fly in a straight line.
- Using Focus doesn't slow down the passage of time.
- Using focus does not show the final destination of the bullet.
- When I use Focus, I don't see if I hit an enemy (red mark).
- We have prepared videos and images, so if you refer to both, I think it will help you to capture it.
- The rifle is "M.1903" and "Match Grade Bullet" except for some missions, and the parameters when equipped with normal bullets are unified to "Effective Range: 600m" and "Muzzle Velocity: 1130m/s".
At first
Mission 3 long-range shooting has not found a fixed target commensurate with the distance of the Gold Medal. Currently, there are two choices that can be confirmed: aim at a target at 1850m, which is well over 675m, or aim at a target on the run. Both are more difficult than aiming at a fixed-position medal distance target, and this mission is also one of the most challenging. You'll have to try it many times, so if you can't do it, I think it's a good idea to distract yourself with another mission.

Shooting Pattern 1 ([Ultra] Long Range)
In the figure above, it is a shooting on the (1) route. There is a route (4) as the same target aim, but this is for record aiming, so I will not explain it here.
First of all, the target is 1850 meters away, so you will have to aim at an enemy outside the map, which is obvious. Since it is aimed at the target in clear weather, you can check the shape of the person for the time being, but if it is authentic, it can only be seen as a dot.
For the time being, I will put two images of the target seen with authentic binoculars at equal magnification of 1920x1080. The different parts of the two images are the target.
First, head to the shooting point, which will be on the top floor of the cathedral, which is the clear target of the mission. I think there was a point where you could get out of the hole where you could see the three enemy officers talking, but you can reach it by going up two more ladders. Unlike the ranged shooting points in other missions, they are quite far from the starting point, so it is a hassle to get there.
When you get to the top floor, if you look south from the south window and a little to the west, you can see that there is something like a fort built on the mountain. There is an infantry at the top of it, which will be the target of this shot.
If it's not authentic, you can set the magnification of the binoculars to x20, so it's a little easier to understand. Authentic is fixed at x10, so the target is almost a point. You can't tag them either.
By the way, the figure below shows the magnification display when set to x20 with binoculars in a 1920x1080 environment. I think the shape of a person looks like it.
Now, from here, you can aim at the target, but unfortunately you can't reach it with the rifle you brought with you at the time of the sortie. There are 50 match-grade rounds nearby, but apparently they are not intended for this target.
Then, what to do is to use a rifle called "Enhanced M.1903" on the top floor. If you take it, don't take out the bullet by mistake. It is the strongest rifle limited to 3 shots. After shooting, it is not possible to replenish the bullets.
If you take the enhanced M.1903, be sure to save. There are not many people who can hit with three shots. If you save it, you can start over as many times as you like.
After taking the gun, move to the north side, move to the circle in the figure below, and crouch. It's good in most places. Eventually, you will adjust it with aim.
Crouch down, face the target and hold your rifle. If you can't see the target, move slightly to the left or right. Set the range to the maximum 1500.
The target regularly moves left and right, so shoot when you move to the right. When you are holding a rifle, the position of the target may be displayed as a square frame, so make good use of it when it appears.
As for the direction of the stance, it is easy to hit if the horizontal and vertical lines of the scope overlap the shape of the castle as shown in the figure below.
I think there is a limit to the adjustments, so just shoot until you hit. I think it will hit someday.
Shooting Pattern 2 (Shoot Seidl as he drives home (from the top floor)) (Not done)
(3) is recommended because the distance is longer and it is easier to see the target.
Shooting Pattern 3 (Shoot Seidl driving home (from the Cathedral Lookout))
The target here is around 700m, so you can get a gold medal. The process is quite tedious, so if you can't shoot at 1850m well, try it.
The firing point and target position this time are (3) in the first figure. There is also a route (2) for the same target, but I recommend (3) because I have not tried to hit the route with only (2).
First of all, if you play normally, you will hardly see a scene where Seidl drives home. In order for Seidl to drive home, the following conditions are required:
First of all, there is an officer's car on the east side of the map, but leave it without destroying it.
The infantry driving this car is near the bar above the car, so don't kill it. Since it is an infantry soldier with a letter, I think you can find out if you look it up with binoculars.
Head to the cathedral, home to three officers, including Seidl. At this time, you can kill enemies on the way, but try to avoid being spotted by them as much as possible. It can go wrong when the driver or Seidl is on alert or in a combat state. Handle the enemies you defeat along the way so that they are not found as much as possible.
In addition, this time, the shooting point will be at the following location as shown in (3) in the first figure. It would be troublesome if the enemy noticed you while shooting, so be sure to wipe out the enemies in the vicinity.
Once you have cleared out the enemy, go up to the top of the cathedral and flag the start of a meeting of the three officers. As you go up the cathedral, your driver will take you to the vicinity of the cathedral. You don't have to watch the car move. If the driver doesn't distract you from anything else, it will move here on its own.
By the way, in order for the meeting to proceed, you need to open the door and see the officers, or check through the peephole on the upper floor. Leave it alone after the meeting of the three officers. When the meeting is over, the three of them go their separate ways, and Seidl gets in the car that was waiting at the cathedral and goes home. Wait at the firing point before Seidl gets in the car and starts crossing the long bridge to the south.
This time, the M.1903 match-grade bullets are sufficient, but if you prefer, you can bring the enhanced M.1903 from the top floor of the cathedral.
Make one save when Seidl's car starts to cross the bridge to the south. This time, the target is not stationary, but if you miss it, you will not have the opportunity to defeat it, so you want to be able to start over.
If you don't do anything, Seidl's car will suddenly disappear after 715 meters of the house across the bridge. Therefore, you need to defeat or stop them before you get there.
When Seidl comes near the house, shoot a match-grade bullet. You can hit it and knock it down, but it won't hit you first, so hit it on a car or near a car to put it in a "cautionary state". If you shoot too far in front of you, it will be smaller than 675m, and if you shoot too slowly, it will disappear.
For the time being, you can shoot at random because the purpose is to stop the car, but as a guide, align the vertical line of the scope with the telegraph pole in front of the house as shown in the figure below. Align the center of the scope with the white and black boundary of the fence in front of you to prevent shaking. Shoot when the head of the person in the car touches the horizontal line in the center of the scope. You may not be in a cautionary state, so please shoot 2~3 shots appropriately after that.
By the way, it disappears when the enemy reaches the point of disappearance in normal times. If you are in a "cautionary state", even if you reach the point of disappearance at a breakneck speed, it will stop suddenly and disappear. That's why I'm shooting random bullets at cars this time.
If the car does not disappear, the officer and infantry will leave the car and go into hiding. If the car doesn't disappear, it's stage 2, so create a new save.
All that's left to do is shoot the officer with your rifle. You have saved it, so shoot until you hit it. The figure below shows the position of the scope when the kill camera is activated.
In addition, the enemy's position is not fixed because the enemy will let go of his guard and get into the car again. Even if you get in a car, the car will not move, so it may be the other way around.
By the way, the figure below is a diagram of the alert and normal times when binoculars are x20. Please use it as a reference for authenticity.
