Record desktop video (tool: AG-desktop recorder)
Advantages and disadvantages of the feeling used
There are many recording tools, but the advantages and disadvantages of using the "AG-Desktop Recorder" are the following. (I'm looking at it in my personal subjectivity.
- The basic recording function can be used in one way.
- It can be output as standard to wmv formats with a good balance of cost quality.
- Convenient start and end shortcut keys
- Can record cleanly without falling down the frame
- There is no function to automatically set the recording range to fit the window.
Installation and operating procedures
Go tothe AG-Desktop Recorder download page and click the download link to download the file. Because it is not in installer format, remove the file from the downloaded ZIP file and copy it to any folder.
After you have extracted the file, double-click the AGDRec.exe file to start it.
First, the codec and encoding mode selection screen is displayed. The description of the codec type is as shown on the screen, so please choose any one. Windows Media Video is selected here.
For encoding mode, select Buffering Encoding. This reduces the number of frames that can be recorded even if windows is suddenly under load. I think that it is not so that the memory is insufficient if it is a recent PC.
If you check "Show only when you hold down the shift key and start it", this screen will appear only when you hold down shift and start AGDRec.exe.
Click the OK button to close it to display the AG-Desktop Recorder icon in the task tray. This is where you start.
Right-click the task tray icon to display a menu. If you choose Start Recording, the entire monitor will start recording, but first let's take a look at the settings.
The picture is on the left side of the settings screen.
You can leave the capture settings as they are. If you want to record at low FPS, lower the number.
Because the recording range specification can be specified separately, it is acceptable as it is. Enabling size auto-adjustment makes it a little easier because you can adjust only the integer multiples that you specify when you set the range with the mouse.
The recording control key setting can be switched between the start and end of the recording with the shortcut key. Because it is comparatively convenient, please set the shortcut key which does not bump with other applications.
You can toggle the check box to see if you want to record the mouse cursor when recording.
You can change the detailed settings in the mode setting. If you are using buffering encoding, set the work memory to the maximum. This increases the possibility of avoiding falling frames during recording.
The codec settings depend on the type of codec you choose. The figure is from the time you select wmv. You can set various items such as quality.
Audio can be recorded by selecting the device on which the audio is playing.
As for the recording output, the file is automatically saved after recording is complete, so you can specify any folder and file name. If you check add a date and time, the date and time is added to the recorded file name, so repeated recordings will not overwrite the previous recorded file.
You can record any range by right-clicking the task tray icon and selecting Record ed. If you do not set this, the entire monitor will be recorded.
If you want to specify an area for the first time, you have only "Direct Specification", so just click the OK button.
Click the OK button.
Drag the mouse across the screen to specify the recording area. The specified range is displayed in yellow. Since the starting position is 1 pixel unit, it is difficult to adjust with the mouse, so i'll specify the approximate range for now.
After you specify a range, you can set the parameters. The recording area remains yellow, so you can adjust the recording range by entering a number of start ing points. If you want to keep the specified area, you can select it next time by checking "Add to region list" and entering the registration name.
As soon as you click the Start Recording button, recording starts in that area. If you select Complete Processing, the area is temporarily saved and terminated.
By the way, if you specify an area, the recording range is displayed in a yellow frame during AG-Desktop Recorder startup.
If the recording has started, do so. If you want to end recording, right-click the task tray icon to exit, or exit with the shortcut key you registered. When you finish, the recorded data is printed to the file.
You can verify that the recording file is printed in a given folder.
