Installing MonoGame 3.4 (Legacy)
Installing Visual Studio
If you already have Visual Studio installed, skip to the next item.
Visual Studio can be any version of Visual Studio 2010 or later, except for some editions. However, since there is a combination relationship with the OS, please adjust it to your environment. If you are an individual developer, you can also use the free Visual Studio (please check if you are an available user).
Download MonoGame
Open the following URL page and download the MonoGame installer from the link in the figure. This tip uses MonoGame as an addition to Visual Studio. Also, MonoGame version 3.4 is used.
Installing MonoGame
Close any Visual Studio running before installing MonoGame.
Double-click the downloaded file to launch the MonoGame installer.
When the MonoGame installer starts, click the "Next" button.
Read the License Agreement carefully and click the I Agree button if you agree.
Select the components you want to install, but if nothing is specified, install them with all checked precedents. Click the Install button to start the installation.
When the installation is complete, click the "Finish" button to finish.
