Create a Microsoft account
Go to theMSNsite. Click the Sign In link at the top right of the page. You can use any Microsoft-related site with the Sign In link in the top right.
If you've already created an account, you can sign in by entering your email address and password. If you haven't created an account yet, click the "Sign up" link at the bottom right of the page.
Enter the items you need to create your account.
If you already have an email address, you can register it as your username. This email address can be an email address for another service. If you want to create a Microsoft email address, click the "Create a new email address" link.
Enter any name and select a domain name. You can't enter a name that's already in use, or a name that's too easy.
Once you've entered the required items, click the Create Account button.
When you're done creating your account and signing in, the sign-in will change to the name you signed in to. You can select a profile by clicking on your name.
You can set up your account.
Next to the profile at the top left, you can click the button to use web services such as Outlook.com, Calendar, and SkyDrive Cloud Storage. You can also use a variety of services, such as syncing your Windows settings with multiple PCs or participating in forums.
