Long-range Shooting - Mission 07 All Combined Forces

Page creation date :
  • All difficulty levels are explained in the highest difficulty authentic. On other difficulties, you only hit the red target in focus, so I won't explain it here. In Authentic, shooting is more difficult than other difficulty levels.
    • The projectile is affected by gravity. Therefore, it does not fly straight.
    • The bullets are affected by the wind. Therefore, it does not fly straight.
    • Even when using focus, time does not slow down.
    • Even when using focus, the final destination of the bullet is not displayed.
    • Even when using Focus, whether you hit enemies (red mark) is not displayed.
  • I have prepared videos and images, so I think using both will help you with your strategy.
  • Rifles often use the long-range "No.4 Lee" or "M.1903."
  • The standard rounds are 'match-grade rounds' that have longer range, but if it's hard to target enemies, they may use 'soft point rounds' that deal more damage.

Introduction

Mission 7's long-range shooting is relatively short, has a wide field of view, and is bright, so it's considered easy.

Shooting Pattern 1 (388m: Castle Target)

It might be the easiest long-range shooting. You can achieve this by shooting the infantry on the left side of the castle's 4th floor from the southern starting point.

Shooting Pattern 2 (446m: Ammunition Depot Target)

If you only want to win gold medals, Pattern 1 is fine. From here on, the goal is to set records. Pattern 2 suddenly increases in difficulty, so if it seems difficult, Pattern 3 might be easier.

The shooting point is the southern starting point. The target is the soldiers above the ammunition depot on the west side of the castle.

Once you start, first exit the broken house and circle around to the right.

Go around to the right and go behind the tree on the right.

You can circle around the wall of the first house, so you can move to the corner.

This is the shooting point. Also, since the price has dropped this much to aim for a record, if it seems difficult, you can step forward.

Facing north, the direction where wooden planks are stacked in front is the direction of the ammunition depot. To be a bit more precise, it's toward the direction where the red-leafed trees are located further in.

As shown in the image, the trees make enemies completely invisible, making it quite difficult to target them. Since the target patrols regularly, you need to use binoculars to locate the enemy and immediately shoot where it stops. Also, while several infantry walk above the ammunition depot, only one pauses above it. Please be careful. It's a good idea to lower the difficulty and check enemy movements in advance.

Note that the following image is viewed at 20x x with lower difficulty, but in Authentic, it is 10x and enemies are not marked.

Once you check an enemy's pause with binoculars, shoot immediately with your rifle. In terms of distance, it stops temporarily on the right side of the circuit around 446m~447m, so that's the best spot. If you want to extend the distance further, you can also pause on the left side of the patrol, so aiming for that spot is also an option, but since you crouch there, the difficulty increases even more. Since it's hard to hit vital points, using soft point shots is also effective.

Shooting Pattern 3 (505m: Toward the mansion, use enemy stun)

This technique uses the same method as Mission 3, where you stun enemies and carry them as far as possible to increase your range. You won't be able to see enemies, but since enemies won't move, it should be easier than Pattern 2.

The shooting point is near the southern starting point, and the target is placed in the mountain near the western mansion.

First, head to the western mansion and eliminate one enemy. The target can be anyone. You can defeat other troublesome enemies.

Once you knock out the enemy, carry them to the mountain behind the mansion.

After climbing a bit up the mountain, drop enemies near the grassy area. This time, I dropped it carelessly, so if you want to increase your casting distance, please adjust it to the very last minute.

Once you've placed enemies, return to the southern starting point. The firing point changes depending on where enemies land, so adjust the shooting point while checking the target's visible position with binoculars.

This time, I adjusted it so that the target can be seen like this. (That said, I still adjust the location while shooting.)

After that, shoot the fallen target with your rifle. Because enemies are down, the hitbox gets much smaller, making it quite difficult to hit. On the other hand, enemies don't move, so there's no worry about them escaping.

Note that even if you can mark a fallen enemy with binoculars, it is likely that enemies will not appear on the screen and cannot be seen with your eyes.

One thing to note is that fallen enemies may disappear when saved and loaded. When taking on a challenge, it's preferable to go no-save.
