XNA Shooting for Windows (Physical Edition) (Installation)
The one-time version can only be installed if you have an XNA Game Studio 2.0 development environment. There is no difference between the game content of the packaged version and the standard version.
The downloaded file is compressed as a ZIP file. If the OS is Windows XP or later, the decompression function is included as standard, so please copy the contents and take it out. For other operating systems, please prepare decompression software.
There is a file called "XNAShooting-Windows.ccgame" in the unzipped file, so double-click it.
When you double-click on it, a screen like the one on the right will appear, so click the "Unpack" button.
When you extract the package, you will see the folder where you extracted it. You can play the game by executing "XNAShooting.exe".
The extracted files are extracted to the following folders:
[Windows XP]
- C:Documents and Settings[user name]\Local Settings\Application Data\XNA Creators Club Games\XNA Shooting
[Windows Vista]
- C:\Users[user name]\AppData\Local\XNA Creators Club Games\XNA Shooting

XNA Shooter for Xbox360 (Installation)
*The Xbox 360 version is only available to XNA Creators Club members.
Since it is only for "XNA Creators Club members", it is likely that you have already connected to the Xbox 360, so I will not go into the details of that.
The downloaded file is compressed as a ZIP file. If the OS is Windows XP or later, the decompression function is included as standard, so please copy the contents and take it out. For other operating systems, please prepare decompression software.
First, on the Xbox 360 side, go to the Games tab and select Game Library.
Select the "My Games" menu.
When the list of games appears, select XNA Game Studio Connect.
Select Get Started.
The screen will look like the one on the right, so the Xbox 360 side will wait in this state.
Next, double-click the file "XNAShooting-Xbox360.ccgame" from the downloaded file on the PC side.
Then a screen like the one on the right will be displayed, so click the "Unpack" button.
The transfer of the package's files begins. You'll notice that the Xbox 360 is also transferring data.
When the screen closes, the file placement is complete.
If you go back to the previous screen on Xbox 360, you'll see that "XNA Shooting" has been added to the list of games.
Select XNA Shooting.
Select "Start Game".
The game will actually start and you will be able to play.
Once you've deployed a game, it's stored on your Xbox 360, so you can play it whenever you want, isolating it from your PC.
XNA Shooter for Xbox 360 (Uninstall)
Select "XNA Shooting" in "My Games" and delete it from the "Exit Game" menu.
