I want to make the button on the toolbar small because it is large and disturbing.

By default, toolbar buttons are slightly larger than other software because the icons are 24 ×24 in size and come with text.

You can change the size of the icon and the display of text in preferences.

Resize the icon to 16×16 and set the text to Not Display, and the button will be similar to other software.
