Flash.ocx is required at the end of the raster, but it is no longer included in this version of Windows
Symptoms that occur
After you exit Raster, you may see the following Program Compatibility Assistant:
Accrual conditions
This occurs when you run in the following environments:
- When running on a 64-bit OS
- When you open Wizard Help
cause
Wizard Help determines whether to launch as a 32-bit or 64-bit application, depending on your OPERATING environment. If the OS is 64bit, it will be launched as a 64-bit application.
Wizard Help also uses IE components to display help, and when launched as a 64-bit application as described above, ie components are also 64-bit.
However, as of July 4, 2010, the 64-bit version of flash components is not available, so you will see a warning dialog like the one above. (Flash
A dialog will appear when you view a page that is even a little relevant to ))
Countermeasures
There are no failures caused by this warning. It just doesn't run when you navigate to a page with Flash. If you click "This program worked properly" in the dialog above, the warning will not be displayed the next time the raster ends.
