Settings Dialog
Press the "Settings" button on the toolbar or double-click the vertex weight box list to open the vertex weight setting dialog.
Overall vertex weight
Priority
The preference of the vertex weight set for the model using the vertex weight box. It is compared with the data box and object part specification.
Weight blending method for multiple specified vertices
Specifies how the same vertex is assigned and how the effect on bones is calculated when surrounded by multiple vertex weight boxes.
Evenly Allocated | Divide 1.0 equally by the number of bones allocated. |
Linear N-squared interpolation | The vertex weight is stronger closer to the bone. You can also specify a multiplier for the line form. |
Weight multiplier for multiple bone effects
If vertices are specified in two or more boxes, set the multiplier for linear nth interpolation in the formula that calculates the weight value. The higher this value, the more affected the bone. If it is more than 5, it is rounded down to 4.
Settings for each box
Select the box to change settings from the list on the left.
Box Name
The name of the vertex weight box. It can be optional.
Box color
The color of the box that appears in the view.
Opacity
The opacity of the box. In the range 0~255, 0 is fully transparent and 255 is fully opaque.
Corresponding bones
Specifies which bone the vertex weight box is associated with.
