Model Data Loading
You can import the model file by clicking "Load model data" from "File" in the menu. Except when editing animation, you can change the model at any time.
When you click "Load model data", the model file selection dialog appears, so select the model to import and open it. The file format of the model that can be imported is ". mqo」「. x」「. elem". The import settings change depending on the imported file format.
- .mqo
- .x
- .elem
- Associating an Existing Object Material
「. mqo" file
「. .mqo" files can be created with modeling software called "Metasequoia". Please check "http://www.metaseq.net/" for details.
When you import the file, the dialog below will appear.
In Metasequoia, models are managed by object, and you can check the objects you want to load from the list on the left. (Objects in the "visible" state in Metasequoia are checked from the beginning.) ) If you uncheck it, you can prevent unnecessary objects from loading.
With the central load magnification, you can set the size when the model is loaded. Please adjust this area well according to the file.
Regarding "Associating Existing Objects and Materials" on the right, please refer to this page because it is common to all model files for reading.
「. x" file
「. X" file is a model file format provided by Microsoft. It is a commonly used format in DirectX programming.
When you import the file, the dialog below will appear.
With the load magnification on the left, you can set the size when the model is loaded. Please adjust this area well to fit the file.
Depending on the X file, the coordinates of the model may be different, so adjust it with the axis reversal parameter before loading.
X,Y,Z axis inversion
Invert the pluses and minuses of each axis.
XYZ Exchange
Exchange the values of each axis of XYZ. How it will be replaced will be indicated on the label below.
Flip faces
Reverses the orientation of all faces.

「. elem" file
「. ELEM" files are model files that can be output by Elfreina. The official name is "Elfreina Expansion Model File".
When you import the file, the dialog below will appear.
Elfreina has multiple meshes registered, and a list is displayed in the mesh list on the left. Check the mesh you want to import from the list on the left. If you uncheck it, you can prevent unnecessary mesh loading.
With the central load magnification, you can set the size when the model is loaded. Please adjust this area well according to the file.

Associating an Existing Object Material
This field is not used if there are no objects or materials before importing. Also, objects and materials are essentially the same operation, so we will only talk about objects.
If more than one object already exists, you can choose from the three options below for how you want to load the new object.
Delete the existing object list and create a new one
Delete all existing objects and add the newly imported mesh as objects. If any data has been set in the existing object, all data will be erased.
Keep existing object list and add new
Add the newly imported mesh as an object, leaving the existing object intact. Existing objects are no longer associated with the mesh, but other data remains.
Associate with an existing object list separately
Associate existing objects with imported meshes separately. Select the items in both lists and set them with "Associate" and "Dissolve" in the center. The check below allows you to specify what to do with unassociated items. If there is an unrelated mesh, it will be displayed, but you will not be able to perform operations such as animation editing. Even after the model is loaded, meshes can be associated with objects.
