Material List

Imported materials are managed by the material list. It is created automatically when you import the model, so you do not need to change the settings except in special cases.

Display ON/OFF of the material list panel

You can show or hide the material list panel from the "Material List" in the menu "View" or "Material List" in the sidebar.

Unassociated Materials

If a material is not associated with an imported material, the item in the list is marked ×. Materials marked with this mark have no editorial significance. Material associations can be changed when importing model data or in the Material Settings dialog.

Add a material. It is used to associate a new material with a material, such as when a material is added in modeling software. Other than that, I basically do not use it.

deletion

Delete the material. It is used when there is excess material, such as when a material is deleted in modeling software. Other than that, I basically do not use it.

Open the Material Settings dialog. For details, please refer to "Settings Dialog".

Settings Dialog

Press the "Settings" button in the material list or double-click the list to open the Settings dialog.

Select the material whose settings you want to change from the list on the left.

Material Name

The name of the material. It can be optional.

Alphanumeric name of the material

Used when saving to a separate file when the material name can contain only alphanumeric characters.

Registered Read Materials

A list of imported materials appears. Associates the Elfreina material with the import material.

User-defined string (shared version)

You can enter user-defined data to add to the material in the ELEM file.
