Introducing new features
Ver 4.0
Introducing new features added in the checklist management software "Raster" Ver 4.0.
Synchronize checklists
Because checklists are managed on a file-by-file basis, previous versions of Ver 4.0 did not determine which files were updated and which files were up-to-date if a project file was shared by multiple users or if the files were synchronized across multiple PCs.
Ver 4.0 now checks for updates to files or check items, so multiple users and PCs are always up to date.
Ver 3.0
Introducing new features added in the checklist management software "Raster" Ver 3.0.
The input column of each check item can be set arbitrarily
In Ver 2.0, the input items were fixed with three types of "check", "type", and "content", but in Ver 3.0, you can freely increase the number of columns.
You can also freely set controls for entering data in each column.
The default column item at the top and the optionally customized column item at the bottom
Add input controls
In addition to the traditional input controls, "Single-line text box", "Date input", and "Checkbox" controls have been added.
Of course, you're free to decide which controls you can assign to columns.
check | Enter a checkmark. This control is the leftmost column-only control.
Extended text box for rasters | Displays a text box where you can enter multiple lines of text, change the font of the input text, and the display of scrollbars. You can change this setting in preferences. |
|
Single-line text box | You can display a single line of text box and enter any text.
Combo Box | Displays combo boxes that you can select from the items edited in the selection list.
Date entry | Displays a control that selects the year, month, and date.
Checkbox | Displays a control that selects CHECK ON or OFF. If it is checked, it will be "○", or if it is not attached, it will be an empty character.
Date and time of update | This field is not an entry. When you edit another column, the date and time at that time are displayed. |
Configure checklist folders as real folders
The folder configuration in the checklist tree is now consistent with the folder configuration that actually exists. Checklist files are also placed in a folder structure, so that you can automatically load them when you start rasters by simply copying the checklist files into that folder.
Tier and manage checklists
Split checklist views to view two checklists at the same time
By dividing the checklist view, you can now view and edit two checklists at the same time. It is useful when comparing two checklists.
The view supports both horizontal and vertical splits.
Horizontal and vertical divisions are possible
Search function
Each checklist has a search toolbar that allows you to search for a specified column. This is a form that corresponds to the conventional "type search" and "text search" to variable columns.
Select a search column to refine
Apart from the search above, there is a feature that allows you to search for the entire checklist.
When you perform a search, the results are displayed in the search results panel, and double-clicking on each item opens the target checklist.
Password checklist protection
Checklists can be encrypted with a password. A password is put on a checklist unit, so it is possible to decrypt the file with the same password even if you move it to another PC.
In addition, in order not to enter the same password every time you open the checklist, there is a function to temporarily apply the password during raster startup, so you can save typing.
Checklist templates
Once you create a checklist column information, you can save it as a template.
Saved templates can be used to create new checklists, or you can change column information from existing checklists at once.
Free layout with docking panel
Checklist tree, search, and search results panels can be docked to windows or floated. In addition, there is a function such as "automatically hide" that displays only when necessary, and it is possible to edit the checklist in a large area with a free layout.
It can be arranged in a free layout, such as left and right up and down, docked state, automatically hidden
Maintain the entire checklist as a project
In the past, checklists were managed only within raster folders, but Ver3.0 allows you to work on a project-by-project basis, specify where to create data, and create multiple projects.
Wizard Help
I think that there are some people who do not know how to operate it for those who use rasters for the first time. Therefore, "Wizard Help" is launched at startup, and a function has been added that explains the procedure of operation in a wizard format.
If you already know how to use it or are familiar with it, you can also prevent this wizard from starting.
Assign shortcut keys
Until Ver 2.0, some people thought that it was inconvenient because the shortcut key was fixed, but in Ver 3.0, you can freely assign shortcut keys.
You can also add them to menus that do not have shortcut keys assigned to them by default. Shortcut keys can be assigned to almost any menu.
Open checklist automatically
The last time you exit a raster, if you have a checklist that remains open, it will now open automatically when you start raster again.
You can also set it to open automatically for each individual checklist, so it's a good idea to set it to a checklist that you should always look at when you start rasters.
Delete old backup files
If you create a backup file automatically, I think that files that you are unlikely to use will accumulate in the future. Ver3.0 added the ability to automatically delete old backup files with automatically created backup files.
Backup files that have passed the specified period at the end of the raster are automatically deleted. This feature is turned off by default.
Create Steps Wizard
Wizard Help is a wizard-style help that explains how to use rasters if you're not sure yet.
Wizard Help is automatically displayed when raster starts, so it prevents a common phenomenon of not knowing how to use it without knowing the existence of help. If you no longer need it, you can also set it to not appear again.
Also, because the size of the window is small, it does not get in the way when working while watching help.
